These Conditions apply to any person (“Customer”, “you”, “you’re”) who uses to book Transfer or/and Storage space and services (“Transfer or/and Storage”) from The Luggage Transfer via the Website available at https://theluggagetransfer.com (“Website”) or on The Luggage Transfer – mobile applications (“Apps”) which are operated by The Luggage Transfer whose details are in clause 1 below (“The Luggage Transfer”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and are in addition to the terms of the Website Conditions, which also form part of and apply to these Conditions. We provide Transfer and or/and Storage under the the Luggage and Storage Agreement entered into between The Luggage Transfer and a Customer following clause 3 of these Conditions.
1.0 Our Details and Our Role

1.2 The Luggage Transfer is available online for customers to find and book available Transfers and luggage storage.
1.3 The Luggage Transfer company provides luggage transfer and storage services. These conditions authorise us to negotiate and conclude each Transfer and Storage Agreement with our customers (under clause 3 of these Conditions) for the supply of transfer and storage services. In this capacity, we are the only party involved in the Transfer and Storage Agreement. We collect the Transfer and Storage fees due under the agreement, and you will see these charges on your card or payment account statement.
2.0 Bookings and Fees
2.1 Our customers can conveniently book transfer and storage services anytime through our Website or apps. Before Booking, we recommend checking our opening hours on the Website or apps. To book a transfer or storage service, you must create a data account by agreeing to our website conditions and following the instructions provided on the Website or apps. This account is called “The Luggage Transfer Customer Account”.
2.2 Each Customer agrees to provide accurate, current and complete information during the registration process and update it as necessary to keep it current and complete. The Luggage Transfer reserves the right to suspend or terminate your The Luggage Transfer Customer Account and access to the Website if any information provided to us by you proves to be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and agree that you will not disclose your password to any third party. You must immediately notify The Luggage Transfer of any unauthorised The Luggage Transfer Customer Account by emailing info@theluggagetransfer.com. You shall be solely responsible and liable for the use of your The Luggage Transfer Customer Account, whether or not you have authorised those actions unless they occur after you have notified us of any unauthorised use.
2.3 When placing a Booking, each Customer will be asked to provide certain information, such as i) dates and approximate times for dropping off and picking up items, ii) the number of items and iii) any relevant notes to the order. In addition, each Customer will be asked to provide customary billing information, such as name, billing address and contact details. Each Customer will also be asked to provide payment card information to a third-party payment provider, and each Customer’s payment card will be debited at the time of Booking. Once payment is confirmed, a Customer’s Booking transaction and payment are complete, and the Customer will receive an email confirmation summarising his verified Booking. All customer payments to The Luggage Transfer and by The Luggage Transfer to Hosts will be processed through the Stripe online payment system unless clearly stated otherwise. Payments made through Stripe will be subject to their automatic fraud checks. Please see www.stripe.com/radar for more information.
2.4 Customers are reminded to book Transfer or/and Storage through the Website or Apps.
2.5 The pricing section of the Website or App displays the fees for each transaction, including VAT. The prices are charged based on the duration of Storage, and if a Customer does not comply with their stated Transfer, Storage and collection times, additional charges may be debited to their payment card.
3.0 Luggage and Storage Agreement
3.1 We are responsible for:
Safe transferring the luggage and restricting access to the storage area when bags are kept in Storage, supervising access to the storage area when they are dropped off or collected, looking after the bags in their care, and docking them away. Verifying a customer’s photo ID against the name on the booking confirmation.
3.2 The Website or Apps provide transfer and storage times. You must ensure these times suit your booking plans.
3.3 Each Customer will comply with the security arrangements specified or referred to by us in the Luggage and Storage Agreement, including providing proof of Booking and proof of identity, inspection of the luggage stored, sealing of bags and/or photographing the luggage to record Condition. Unless otherwise expressly agreed in the Luggage and Storage Agreement, only the Customer who deposits an item may collect that item.
3.4 We are only liable for losses or damages caused during transfer and/or Storage, except in cases beyond our control.
3.5 Suppose we alter our opening hours (either generally or on a particular day) or close due to unforeseen circumstances, and this will affect your existing Booking. In that case, we will inform you by email or call you as a matter of urgency.
3.6 You must inform us if you cannot collect your luggage at the agreed time mentioned in the Luggage and Storage Agreement. If we don’t hear from you, we will try to contact you and arrange a new time for you to collect your luggage. If we cannot contact you and you haven’t ordered your bags within 7 days of the agreed date, we will assume that you no longer require your luggage and dispose of it without any liability or responsibility on our part. Additionally, if you fail to pay for the delivery of your luggage to you within 7 days of the agreed payment date, we will also dispose of your luggage. However, if you contact us before the 7 days are over, we can still arrange for you to collect your luggage or have it delivered to you at your expense.
3.7 It is hereby declared by The Luggage Transfer that we are solely responsible for generating and delivering invoices for the services rendered. We take full responsibility for issuing invoices to the relevant parties. All invoices generated by The Luggage Transfer shall accurately reflect the services provided by the hosts. Furthermore, all payments received by The Luggage Transfer on behalf of the hosts shall be duly accounted for and disbursed promptly to the respective hosts.
4.0 Prohibited Items
4.1 YOU AGREE THAT YOU WILL NOT STORE OR MAKE A BOOKING TO STORE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
- Travel documents (e.g. passports, board passes)
- Explosives, fuel, hazardous or flammable materials
- Pesticides, toxic chemicals, pollutants or waste of any kind
- Firearms or ammunition
- Controlled substances or dangerous goods
- Stolen goods, substance(s) or other contraband deemed illegal or unlawful within the country in which you are storing the bag.
- Perishable food items or spoiled food
- Radioactive materials
- Jewellery watches, and items made of precious metals.
- Cash or tradeable assets that hold monetary value (e.g. share certificates, stocks, bonds)
4.2 We reserve the right to remove and dispose of any stored item which violates this Condition without prior notice or accountability to the Customer. In addition, we may report any illegal or suspected illegal activities of the Customer or any hazardous item stored to the appropriate authorities. The guarantee does not cover the items listed above (refer to section 6). However, if the incident is unrelated to the Storage of these items, the guarantee may cover the remaining stored items.
5.0 Cancellations and Refunds
5.1. Subject to Clause
5.2 The Customer has the right to cancel their Booking and Luggage and Storage Agreement before the drop-off time agreed upon in the Agreement (Cancellation Period). This can be done free of charge and without giving any reason by cancelling online through their account, by providing written notice to info@theluggagetransfer.com, or by speaking to a member of The Luggage Transfer team and clearly stating their decision to cancel the contract.
5.3 We will not provide Transfer and Storage during the Cancellation Period unless the Customer expressly requests it.
5.4 If we cannot fulfil a booking, the Luggage Transfer team will promptly notify the Customer and issue a refund.
6.0 Guarantee
6.1 For bookings made through our Website or apps, we guarantee up to €1,000 (or the equivalent in your local currency at the time of the incident) against any loss or damage caused to your bag, luggage, and the items stored inside them.
6.2 This guarantee provides no protection:
- For any of the items listed as prohibited in section 4.
- If there is loss or damage caused by, or as a result of, war, terrorism or acts of hostility.
- If you can recover any loss or cost of damage from any insurance policy, guarantee or third party.
6.3 As soon as you become aware of loss or damage, you must contact us by following the instructions at https://theluggagetransfer.com/insuranse.
7.0 Liability
7.1 In addition to the liability provisions in the Website Conditions, each of the Luggage and Storage Agreement and the exclusion of liability in clauses 3.5 and 6.2 of these Conditions:
7.2 We are only responsible for direct loss or damage from our breach, negligence, or fraud.
7.3 We shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you under or in connection with a Luggage and Storage Agreement or the acts or omissions of any third party that has no relation to The Luggage Transfer;
7.4 If you are using the Website or Apps outside Greece, we shall not be held liable if the Website violates any local laws.
7.5 You will only be liable for direct loss or damage caused by your negligence or fraudulent acts.
7.6 Our liability for death or injury resulting from our act or omission is not limited or excluded by these Conditions.
